I'm sitting in my living room, tv blabbering in the background (Mystery Jets and Good Shoes, if anyone's interested) while my prehistory books gaze longingly at me and my notebook looks like it might start to yell at me to open it and start studying again. the heat is almost suffocating, and I have nothing better to do than drink a cup of (hot) earl grey and eat dark chocolate, while tapping on my laptop and picking up the paillettes fallen off my shirt and on my skin earlier this morning.



the past month has been an emotional rollercoaster. sort of. rain and rain and rain then suddenly summer, exams gone bad, notions and notions thrown out of the window, family, two weeks of nightmares (tonight I had one of the worst.. I woke up terrified and shivering, and despite the heat I wrapped myself in the duvet), one week on the edge and the following one spent doing absolutely nothing. now I kinda regret it, doing nothing I mean, but I guess I can't do something about it now, can I.
exams until the end of July, hoping for good news but not getting any (my Grandfather's been in hospital the past two weeks, hence the concern and the edge and etc etc. he's not bad, but.. he's still there, meh), a motherfucking HOT weather, a splitting headache: mesdames et messieurs, hello world, this is me.

but there's been some good thingssssss - I can do self pity, but I can do happy too.
rehearsals (I play in a band now! I think I never said a thing about this - duh. well, it's melodic hardcore *sniggers*, we're called Scarlet, we're five, I play the bass + I do backing vocals when I don't forget when I'm supposed to scream sing, and of course we're amazing. I'll let you know when we record something)
