2008 has been the most fulfilling year for music in my whole career. It was challenging and alot of hard work but the payoff has been extremely satisfying.
I played with the Kooltones of course, the Dung Beatles were more popular than ever to the point of getting booked for some high paying gigs in 2009! Mac's Blue 5 was a fantastic experience again. I got to do 2 incarnations of "Kool and the Dog", filled in a few times with the Hipwaiters, Jammed with the Junkyard Dogs, Recorded "Black Light Nights", a collection of 70's hard rock covers , started a NEW band with Norm, Ted, Rick and Pat Called Random Pressure and then ended the year recording a full CD of Rockabilly cover songs with Jeff and Andy. In between that I recorded a few songs with my cousin Dean and our friend Oscar Olson and produced a few sessions in my studio for other people. Whew!!
2009 will be more of the same I'm sure. I'm quite looking forward to it. Thanks to all of you that follow along with me in my little musical journey through life!! It wouldn't be worth doing without being able to share it with you.
Thanks to Jeff, Andy, Jon, Dean, Oscar, Norm, Frank, Jason, Dave, Bruce, Jeff, Troy, Ron H., Ron T., Cliff, Dan, Ted, Rick, Pat, and Harley...my 2008 partners in making music. And Jim Dorothy for making us all look great!!
Happy new year
