Contrary to what our barren blog space might indicate, there's actually a lot going on right now, and I think that it's important for our peeps to be informed.

First of all, we're in the process of recording a new EP. Those of you who come to our shows will recognize Ultimate Power, Envision, and Chosen Ground, and for all of those old school Severed fans out there, we're also rerecording Seasons. This album is by all measures shaping up to eclipse everything that we've done previously, and I can't wait for you guys to hear it.

Secondly, we're once again searching for a guitarist. Greg called it a day, but has been filling in for us at shows. We thank him, and there's no bad blood or ZOMG DRAMA or anything. Anyway, now we need a replacement- someone with the fingers, the ears, and the heart- no half assing it. In a perfect world, we'd be on the road 7 days a week maybe 40 weeks out of the year, spend 10 recording, and the other 2 playing xbox or something. You don't need to share our passion for the vidya, but the rest of it is mandatory. Your day job is a means to fund your musical goals, and you would gladly leave it all behind to go full time. You also need to be able to play tightly and accurately, have control over your tone, and some knowledge of theory would be nice. You don't need to be an encyclopedia, but even some basic knowledge can streamline the writing process a lot and get us ready for gigs much faster. Pretty much, I shouldn't have to do your work for you.
