okay last night was probably one of the best nights of my life.. even though i didnt get laid :( aww..
anyway i thought i would try to write a blog about it cause i was so fucking drunk i can hardly remember it.. and my fucking camera was broken so i got no recordings, awww..

the day started out listening to tool and reading all maynards lyrics.. some of their songs have new meanings to me now :)  then went for an awesome mountain bike ride out to rocky pool and up the hill to the lookout of perth at john forrest..  took a nice video that i'll upload later.  ran into a barb wire fence and a tree branch.. scored some wicked scars and nearly poked my eye out.. heh.

the night started off at the ninth avenue cafe, having pizza and wine with my uncle and parents friends.. that was cool..  walked down to the civic at 8 just as they were opening up.  i live only a few blocks away from there and ive never been there before.. damn, ive been missin out.

sat down and drinked with the guys from soma and loose unit i think.. they were cool :)  dude from subtruck was working the desk. lol. i bought a bunch of subtruck badges and gave em all out to hot chicks throughout the night, lol, thats so lame.. hehe..

soma were pretty cool..  loose unit were good, especially at the epic climax in their last song.. hell yeah..   too bad everyone was standing back or sitting down.. i was being an arrogant cunt and sitting or standing right at the front in the middle :) i felt so special, hah...

the devil rides out were fucking wicked.. cant believe i havent seen em play before.  joey is a legend..  haha at the start of the set i go up and ask him to call out a request for 'all you cunts to get up the front' lol!  damn i was already pretty drunk at that time..  i must have spent about $200 drinking baileys that night, yay! i fuckin love baileys..

and then there was subtruck.. funny how so many people suddenly turned up at the end to see them.. yay!  it fucking rocked so hard.. i was probably being a crazy mad annoying cunt again but i didnt care, i fucking love subtrucks gigs.. good quality hard rock, just cant get enough of it. mmmm

ok there was another girl there who has the same birthday as me, yay! she turned 30 and i 26, so we partied together :P  hanging around out the back of the civic was fucking cool.. quite a few cool people around that night :)

we then made our way to the flying scotsman and velvet lounge..  never been there before and not really my scene, but had a great time anyway.  met some crazy little cunt wearin a tool shirt, hah and i found him on myspace this morning :P  oh yeah fuck i just remembered that i lost my subtruck dvd and cd on the couch there at velvet lounge, doh!.. might go back there and see if they still got it.  oh yeah bought some hot chick a drink at the bar and i think she wanted to go.. doh, shoulda given it a go but i was too interested with the other birthday girl and her friend :P

then we ended up at the amplifier and hung around drinking till like 6am when they kicked us out.  i was meant to meet up with hando at the rocket room.. would have probably preferred to be there.. but i was enjoying the many many quality ladies at the amps and didnt wanna leave :)

yay.. hmm, i stole the subtruck and devil rides out set lists, i'll scan and up em later.

what a fun night, im so fucking sore and tired, but it was well worth it. woot.
