Hey everyone! I hope you are all doing great! I'm in Asheville today. My dad is
having some surgery done and I played a wonderful event last night for Karla
Allred in Sylva. She is battling cancer and our church held a benefit and raised
$10,000. My trips home are always bitter sweet. Its certainly not good to have
come home for surgeries and benefits, but it is great to be around friends and
family, and to be in the most beautiful place in the world.
I've got a big weekend coming up. After spending a couple of days in Myrtle
Beach this past weekend and I'm sure after being at home for a few days I'm
going to be ready to play and get after it! Here are my shows for this weekend.
Friday I'm playing The Blue Plate Special for WDVX in Knoxville at noon.
Friday night I'm heading up to Johnson City to play at Capone's at 10:00.
Saturday I'm playing back in Knoxville at The World's Fair park for the
city's 4th of July Celebration at 6:00.
Sunday evening I'm playing a Lake/Pool party at Randy Hinton's house. Stay
tuned for details on this show.
