Hi,

Ladybird
Erica Syverson

Hm, I've been meaning to send an email like that since In the Streets 2008 when I found sanctuary in the sweet sounds of Mr.Bell on the hot pavement of Frederick. The image of that tower of a man up on that stage all lit up by the late afternoon sun is burned into my brain and I listen to all the albums I have pretty much every day at work. It's soul-savin' music and I can't seem to get enough. Here's hoping we see you in Hagerstown again real soon.
Ever lovin,'
Erica

Hello Phat Friends!!
I also was at this show and Kelly and the band (Kirk,Spencer,Ira and Freddie) did set that bar very high that day. The new fan in Hagerstown is right they were phenominal(They..re Phenominal Phatness was Phor surely Pheekin) If you never have had the chance to catch these guys you are truly missing out!! and if you see they are playing close to ya, go out of your way to catchem, not only do these gentlemen put it out there balls to the wall they are genuinely really cool, they give a damn about their fans and will take the time to show it! Luv me some Kelly Bell Band!!

Joe

PS And NO I do not work for or am I part of this band, I..m just fortunate to work in a club that these guys play at....Ive seen one or two bands in 20+ yrs so them Idol judges aint got nothin on me.
Oh and who doesn..t love their definition of Phat Blues- "Imagine Muddy Waters wearing a Bob Marley T-shirt, riding in Black Sabbath's tour bus, on his way to a Parliament Funkadelic concert, listening to a Sammy Davis, Jr. 8-track tape, humming a Run-DMC song (that would be close)."
