Hi Everyone,
   So the first of the Sisters and Brothers "concert series" will be happening on February 19th. We will happily be hosting Skinny Vinny, a sax and drum duo from Boston, and we are very excited about this. We are trying to foster a community of creative musicians that perform free music, but to do this we must try to make it economically feasible for these musicians to make it up here, and to do this we will need the support of all those that are interested in this kind of expression. At the Starving Artist we have not needed a cover, and we will still not have a cover, but we will be asking for donations to help out the traveling band. That being said, if you do come out to see this music, and want it to continue, any contribution that you make will ensure the continuation of these collaborations that are such an integral part of the free/improvised music aesthetic. We hope to see you all on the 19th, and we hope that you will help us keep this going.  Thank you!
