Ive been building up my own company, Lenardo Design Group. I have 3 projects that ive been working on. One is a beautiful house right along the hudson river in upstate ny. The 2nd project is In north NJ from the same client as the house on the beautiful hudson river.(pics to come) Here are some pictures of the house in nyack on the hudson river. this house is getting a full automated control system with 17" touch screens in the kitchen master bedroom and 2 other bedrooms, which are HD capable as well so you can watch tv on them. A total of 7 plasmas ranging from 42" to 65". and one home theater system with top of the line Kef speakers .

I bought alot of equipment while working on the house in nyack and knew i would be needing it time and time again. I am a frequent visitor to home depot when a project starts. Now since I am starting out, each visit is usually for over 500 bux.I know it will all pay for itself so I am pretty much biting the bullet for now.

This next project I am working on has a funny story behind it. I was going to meet my parents for dinner at the dutchmans in LBI. I noticed a small boat in the water that looked just like my boat. Upon a closer view it turned out to be a rare 16' donzi with an outboard motor. I walked to our table which was right on the water and showed my dad the boat as well. Heres the funny part, after i had dinner . I end up seeing this guy at the gas station with his boat in tow. I needed gas also so we started talkin. Next thing you know hes askin what i do for a living? I tell him, "I design home theaters and smart houses" . He pauses and says really? I need you to do this house im building in loveladies. As soon as he says loveladies the Big house alram goes off in my head(or cash o meter LOL) So I know its a huge house

So, I get to the house and sure enough its a monster. I go through the entire house with the builder. He is building the house to sell it, if it doesnt sell hes movin in. The bank, the builder  and I am hoping it will sell. The builder had four other proposals in his brief case which he showed me. None of them involved wiring the entire house just rooms here and there(SIGH). I ended up getting the job because of my insistancy that the entire house be wired. Even though the builder was reluctant he understood if its not done that way the house may not cater to the high tech families now a days. The builder himself is a great guy and this is his first time doing a smart house ever. So im in like flynn!! I ended up using over 5 thousand feet of various wires. heres some pictures

Here are a couple videos i made to document the entire job. I document everything in case there is a need to go into the walls and fix or add more wires. I have Taken photos as well of every area covered in the video's. Each room is documented so any issues later on can be addressed efficiently

Here is the outside

The area in this next video is the Head area, in simple terms It where all the complicated electronic devices are that make a smart house work.

This is where all the wires run from the head end split up and go to there rooms. all the wires are labeled prior to cutting ANY wire from a spool. This may take time in the begining but what this does is save for timely toning of speaker and control wires later on.Which form experience takes DAYS sometimes weeks. LABEL FIRST!(some companies dont label for THAT REASON extra LABOR)-tsk tsk tsk I dont work like that ;)

Each room has capability of controlling the audio, entire house lighting, and temp control. As well as video for the front door camera.

This is 1 of TWO home theaters/media centers. The 2nd floor media room boasts a pre wired 7.1 surround sound system and touch screen for multiroom audio, lighting and temp control.

2nd floor office, master bedroom and master bath

Decks

This is where the head run comes through on the third floor. It then splits up into the rooms as you can see.

Here are  bedrooms/bathrooms 1 and 2

Here is bedroom/bathroom 3 and the second Home theater media room which is pre wired for the smaller 5.1 surround sound.

This is the 3rd floor office, other wise known as office 2. we also have the master bedroom and master bathroom 2(tis mst2 rooms are larger then the mstr1 area.

The view, WOW

I can't wait till the house is sold AND IT WILL SELL!!hehehe. I can then finish the system depending on what the client(home owner) wants. either basic, mild or wild.

this is a work in progress and is not finished
