Unfortunatley our Royston gig on Saturday the 13th Oct has been cancelled by the committee of the club! reason given was that they were not having live bands for the next two weeks because the last band they booked didnt turn up and they said that they made more money on the night without the band playing er OK dont think they have realised yet that the club was only full because everyone had gone there to see a band play guess which band it was that did not turn up? Storytellers Night!!! and we all know why that is! anyway the fact that we had a binding contract to play there made no difference at all we even offered to reduce our fee yet again to help them, just enough to cover the cost of the hired PA system and lighting that had already been arranged but no was the answer! small claims court would be an option but life is too short, Hence to say we shall never return to this venue in the future. Sorry to all of you who had intended to come along and see us but I am affraid that this is the way clubland is going now, they just cant afford the acts and the smoking ban does not help but now the committee's and concert sec's are starting to lose faith even in bands like Alcatraz who generally can always fill a club and with talk of Bellhouse rd slowing down with rock bands God know's what the future holds.

As for last night at Greasbro it was a great night and thanks to all our loyal fans for coming out midweek to support us! see you all very soon.
