NEWS FROM THE BAND

Here..s a little newsflash from the Wuthering Heights camp just to keep you updated on the band..s activities.

Plans are being laid at the moment to get the busy guys together to rehearse for the ProgPower show in October. Rehearsals will most likely take place late August or early September at Teddy..s place in Uppsala, Sweden. The guys are looking forward to playing again, partying and breaking stuff…!?! The lineup is still intact from the last ProgPower gig and that infamous live album.

And yes, we are working on a new album. The album is more or less planned out, although still in a very rough state. The album will be titled: SALT. Thematically it..s the usual crazy stuff from Erik..s sick mind, some of it with a bit of a "maritime" twist this time, and musically it promises to be a very melodic and very folksy affair. Here are a few tentative song titles:

Away!

The Mad Sailor

The Desperate Poet

Tears

Weather The Storm

The Field

The Last Tribe

Water Of Life

Lost At Sea

All this is still in deed subject to change, of course.

However, we will have to beg for our fans.. patience. Although a good deal of work has been laid down already, things aren..t really moving forward much right now. Erik is suffering from back pains which prevent him from spending those long hours at the computer, demoing and arranging. So unfortunately we..re not able to give any promises as to when the album will be finished. But, we hope things work out soon.

That..s all for now, folks. Keep the metal spirit alive and stay tuned for more news!

Herne protect you!

The Shadow Cabinet was a great album and if Salt is a continuation of this, although you plan to make it more Folksy, then all I can say is: Yay! :-) Have fun at ProgPower, may inspiration come in 'en masse', but foremost, may your health be 100%. If you need to rest, do so, since the album will be finished, recorded and released anyhow.

Take care and keep it heavy! |m|

Metal regards
Tim

p.s.
: Are you guys still signed to Locomotive Records?

Hi Band!

Great news and good story above. Hopefully Erik is getting better and strong enough as soon as possible for spending those long hours with the new songs.
And open that sick mind, hähää!
So there is some good stuff on it's way.
That's great news!!
Cheers,
