Category: Life
it always a cryin' shame when you walk up to your van or car and find out that some lost sad person has broken in and taken the sweetness from your life.

my grandfather gave me a 70's Fender P Bass years ago when i was a wee lad. i dont care about the money..... the sentimental value of that bass which was stolen last night will never be replaced. along with the bass, we also had our line mixer, compressor, flight case, microphones, DI's, cables, several bags, tour shirts, and last but not least our new album...devotion implosion. i guess that sums it up.

we just wanted to keep you in the loop

some people are deep in misery and can't seem to help themselves from destroying everything in there path.

we are still hopeful and love you all

the tour continues

much love

martin

This makes me absolutely sick to read this. When are these horrible thefts going to stop? The Raveonettes, Iggy Pop - so many bands in recent times have suffered this way. It is a real shame.

martin,

I am soooo sorry to hear about this. we talked about that precious p bass at the san jose show. i hope it turns up somehow and am glad to hear you 3 are still pushing on with the tour. your positivity throughout this misfortune shines brightly, and I hope it remains.

I am happy to loan my american fender jazz for the rest of the tour. Please contact me here if you like and we can arrange something.

best,
mark

It is disturbing that you are not the only band to have posted a blog about this....it seems pretty common. I am sad for you all.
