How's everyone? We are doing alright. Tour has been interesting. Moving along.. singing a song. Chicago was fun, 2 shows in one night. We've been shooting video.. should post soon.
Apologies to Denver. Every tour there has to be THAT night. Speakeasy Tiger was fun..Blackgold awesome as usual.. then our turn. See the day started off on the wrong foot. We pull into Denver to find liquid explosion all over our back tire. We were hoping it could be fixed in a day. We had it towed and hitched a ride with Blackgold to the venue. To make it easier the girls were going to borrow the boys amps. I brought my kit. Forward to us about to play. We are setting up.. and the sound guy starts hooking us up. Hooks my monitor to the back of me...He seemed a little flushed and rushed. He gets off stage no line check.. just a "ready lets go!". My friend rockstar AAron introduces us and we start BB. All down hill from there... non stop feedback, jenns monitor is out. Then the amp goes out. Jenn tells the sound guy to go direct. He does but he simply cannot find the mix. Basically he sucked.

We played probably one of the worst shows ever in the history of this band. those who came to see us were nothing short of supportive. Still it breaks our hearts to not be able to give them a show they payed to see. We apologies times a thousand. Those seeing us for the first time im sure wont be back. After the show.. we were sad and embarrassed and just wanted to leave. Sound guy starts following Nina around saying "hey can i talk to you" Nina replies with a "not right now man". I then see him out on the floor and he can keeps telling me "your a rockstar" whatever the hell that means. It was so obvious he was drunk. He then starts to push our friends out of the floor . He starts blaming bad sound all on the amp. We start loading out and hear the partial owner of Benders saying how pissed she was at Nina. Turns out the sound guy told her Nina told him" Dont talk to me man, you have a penis"

WTF. Thats the most silliest thing i've ever heard. Nina would never say such a thing.We leave not arguing..Jenn replyin in in the upmost respect to being booted.
Whats so sad... is that we really liked Benders alot. We have memories there. It was the first venue we played when we first started as a band. Not to say that Benders is bad.. because its not. It takes one douche bag to ruin a night. And the sound guy at Benders in a complete douche.

We left, hung out with Blackgold.. and got back to our motel hoping to awake to some good news about the van. Get the call the next morning that the van needs a new axel and its needs to be ordered and shipped from Kentucky. Bummer. That meant we had to stay in Denver and wait for the part. We had to cancel SLC in Utah, Boise,ID and Seattle. We are trying to  make the best of it. Looking at it as a vacation of sorts. Clearing the mind. Exploring Denver. Jenn was born here. Going to see Gossip and MEN tonight. May do something on stage with MEN... we'll see.

Make sure you still go out and see Blackgold. Their a great band and they will still be playing.
