Once, for a brief & misguided period in 2003, I was employed by a commercial music production house.
Mercifully, they fired me. I celebrated by spending my first weekend of unemployment bashing out a 23-track scrap heap of sonic whimsy entitled
I Used to Write Jingles For a Living. I started giving it out as a freebie CD-R at my old band's live shows around the East Coast.
