Grace Potter and the Nocturnals are a Vermont-based band that has gained national attention by selling out tours and blowing away audiences across the nation. The band’s original blend of rock and roll conjures up a nostalgic sound most likely found in a record collection from the sixties and early seventies.
The lead vocalist, 25-year-old Grace Potter plays the Hammond B3, Fender Rhodes and Wurlitzer Electric Piano, and electric and acoustic guitars. Also in the band are Scott Tournet (guitar/slide guitar/harmonica), Matthew Burr (drums), and Bryan Dondero (electric bass and mandolin). They’re a neoclassic rock & roll band possessing bona fide chops, a natural sense of dynamics and a palate containing all the useful colors, and these qualities allow them to stretch out onstage, to riveting effect. read more... |

“Young's bluegrass chops come through clearly and there's more than
enough high- spirited music to get you up and dancing or clapping along,
and more than enough substance to keep you reflecting on the lyrics long after the music's done, too." - Dirty Linen
