Back in the 1970's, the Suicide Commandos figured out how to extract punk rock from taconite, and Silver Bay experienced its heyday of rockin' growth as a result. Rocky has been standing on his perch since 1975 to identify Silver Bay as the "Punk Rock Capital of the World," and to commemorate the ingenuity of obtaining a valuable product from what was essentially useless rock.
