WE ALL KNOW THAT THE GOVERNMENT OF OUR COUNTRY HAS BECOME A JOKE!  WE NEED NOT BE THE BUTT OF THAT JOKE ANY LONGER!

THESE THINGS WOULD NOT BE TOLERATED BY OUR OWN EMPLOYERS, SO WHY TO WE TOLERATE THEM FROM THE PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR US???

HERE IS A SPACE FOR PUBLIC SERVANTS WHO NEED WARNING LETTERS FROM THEIR BOSSES (WE THE PEOPLE) TO SHAPE UP OR FACE THE AX!

AND THINK LOCAL, THAT IS WHERE OUR VOICES HAVE THE MOST IMPACT  ^_^  OF THE POEPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, AND FOR THE PEOPLE, ONLY WORKS WITH THE ACTIVE PARTICIPATION OF THE PEOPLE!

WE MUST MAKE OUR DEMANDS AND HAND OUT PINKSLIPS TO ALL WHO REFUSE TO COPMLY!

PLEASE LEAVE COMMENTS AND CHECK BACK OFTEN!

HERE IS A LETTER FROM AN AZ HOUSE REP, IN RESPONSE TO EMAILS RECEIVED CONCERNING HCM2003:

To all who have sent email re: HCM2003

There is a lot of misinformation circulating on what a House Concurrent Memorial (HCM) is and does. Whether from the Senate or the House, concurrent memorials are simply “postcards” to Congress which are meant to convey positions the Arizona Legislature may have on federal issues but over which it has no jurisdiction. While this sounds good, in reality, these memorials have absolutely no force or effect and are usually disregarded by anyone to whom they are sent.

I am a strong defender of our country’s right to protect its borders, but HCM2003 does nothing to conserve Arizona’s or America’s sovereignty. It would be much more effective if, at such time as any federal legislation is actually proposed, that we all contact our federal legislators and insist that they not vote for that issue. The defeat of the Kennedy-McCain immigration bill is a good example of citizen activism at this level.

While the emails I received were not great in number considering the population and area of LD3, your concerns were communicated and I seriously considered changing my vote if the bill comes up for reconsideration. In fact, I told several people that I would do so. However, because of some of the outrageous, false, and vitriolic emails I received, I will be voting “no” once again. I have always said that I appreciate receiving comments on any matter from my constituents, but I will not be intimidated by abusive, counterproductive tactics.

To those of you who responded to my explanation with a respectful answer, thank you very much. I believe that we can have intelligent dialogue on an issue even if we don’t agree.

Sincerely,
Nancy McLain

subject: Dear Employee of the people, your job is at stake!

Dear Nancy,

As a citizen of the United Stated of America, a permanent and generational resident of Arizona, and a REPUBLICAN, i am shocked and gravely concerned about your ability to do the job that you were elected to do. After learning of your response to the communication that you recently received concerning the subject of HCM2003, i regret to inform you that unless you are able to reform your behavior and attitudes in a way that would reflect service to the people and regard your duties in a way that indicates an understanding that you ARE a servant of the people and a reflection of OUR collective voice, we will immediately begin to take action towards your removal and replacement.

Yours in liberty, Anne Martinez

Thank you for fighting for our freedom!

READ IT CAREFULLY, SHE BASICALLY SAYS THAT SHE'S PUNISHING US WITH A "NO" VOTE FOR HAVING THE AUDASITY TO TELL HER HOW "THE PEOPLE" WANT HER TO VOTE. IT IS OUR JOB TO TELL HER AND IT'S HER JOB TO DO IT!

Article 2, Section 2: All political power is inherent in the people, and governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, and are established to protect and maintain individual rights.

HOW DARE SHE? HOW CAN WE ALLOW THIS?
IF YOU ARE OUTRAGED AS I AM, PLEASE JOIN ME IN WARNING OUR PUBLIC OFFICIALS TO SHAPE UP OR SHIP OUT!

Anthony

So was this the only rep who was going to make a move in the right direction and then changed her mind because of a few nasty letters? Sounded like she was trying to persuade us that the bill would be a weak one with little or no power, anyway.

That aside, you're actually getting me into this and enjoyed reading your letters and responses. Now, I can barely keep up with you day to day.... Hope you find some time to rest this beautiful weekend, : )

Please Contact Your State Senator Today!

Senate Bill 1214, critical Right-to-Carry reform legislation, introduced by State Senator Karen Johnson (R-18), could be heard in the Senate Committee of the Whole on Thursday, April 3. SB1214 would permit citizens with concealed weapons permits to carry a firearm for self-defense on public university and college campuses. The deadline for bills to be out of their house of origin is Friday, April 4, which is why its imperative that NRA members continue to call their State Senator and ask for their support for this important right to carry measure.

However one State Senator is standing in the way of SB1214 being passed, State Senator John Huppenthal (R-20). Without Senator Huppenthal’s support, there is a chance that this measure may not even come up on the floor for a vote!

Since this important measure has come down to the wire, it is more important than ever to keep contacting your State Senator in support of the bill. Please also call State Senator Huppenthal and respectfully urge him to support this important measure. Senator Huppenthal can be reached at (602) 926-5261 or by email at jhuppenthal@azleg.gov .
