This Thanksgiving is extra special... it'll be my frist attempts at actually cooking the feast. Thursday I'll be waking nice and early and driving over to my friends apartment to gut a rather large dead bird. Some of you know, I'm not a huge meat eater. In fact, I have not consumed beef in a little over 3 years and I don't eat pork, seafood, or sushi. I was at lunch last week with some co-workers and one of them ordered a rather large hamburger. Over the last 3 years I've never had this reaction to the smell of cooked cow. I thought I was going to throw up. I was good. I made no noise about the pungent smell and quietly ate my caramel pie - that was so good.
Aside from the monumental day Thursday shall bring, we begin shooting my first video this weekend. My bestest friend Paige is traveling down from VA to play cello. It's going to be alot of fun. I haven't been to Asheville in ages, so it'll be a nice break from Charlotte. I love mountains.
I wish you all the best this Thanksgiving. Make sure you eat lots of turkey, watch some football, and at least one random movie on tv.
Much Love ~ Rach<3
