Not wanting to stray too far from our current signing policy, Vadim
Yershov is another young producer with a bright future ahead of him.
The Boston-based Russian is turning a few heads with his recent
productions, including those of Plastic City. His original mix is a cut
of melodic progressive house with a whiff of nostalgia; with
atmospheric strings gliding over the unsurprisingly rolling bassline.
Glasgow’s rising stars OOFT (The Revenge and Ali Herron) turn in a
dubbier interpretation that is perfect for the earlier part of the
night. They strip Vadim’s original down and utilise the parts well to
create something that captures its essence perfectly; deep hypnotic
house laced with melody.
Japanese producer Kimihiko Chiba goes down a soulful techno route with
his remix, adding a sax and pads aplenty that result in a spacey,
old-school sounding Detroit number.
To make up the package, we’ve thrown in a remix of Urban Breathe –
Funky Heaven we had lying about. Ytre Rymden Dansskola turn in a more
disco flavoured version that is perfect for what’s left of the summer.
Behrouz - Will play the Kimihiko Chiba remix.
Scope - Nice release, all 3 mixes are great. Original has a nice
progressive vibe, Chiba remix has a cool kinda classic techno feel and
the OOFT remix on the more deep melodic house vibe. My favourite is
probably the Kimihiko Chiba remix.
Dosem - Great stuff! Full support.
Add2Basket - Original and OOFT remix are very nice! Will definitely play them out, thanks for sending them!
Aldrin - Thanks for this...very cool deep tech house, Kimihiko's remix being my favourite. Lovely, deep & warm.
Latenta Project - Feeling the OOFT remix! We will support this one!
Stryke - Original mix is wicked!!!!! Digging the OOFT remix as well, nice one!
Ricky Ryan - Wicked release, all mixes are very nice.
