I've been waiting forever for any news about "Where the Wild Things Are " directed by Spike Jonze.
Your parents owe you an explanation if this childrens book by Maurice Sendak wasn't a part of your rearing. There is so much imagination encompassed in these pages its incredible. If you hadn't thought of dressing up like a wolf and running with monsters before it will become your secret life goal.
The promotional stills I've been able to find look totally sick. This was all I'd seen until now. This weekend some precious soul leaked a minute-twenty long video of a test shot. Granted the whole thing is pretty crude, this isn't the real actor and the costume is just a draft. After Warner spent the weekend reportedly chasing the video around the internet, it can now be found accompanied with an official statement from Jonze in which he stress's the prototype status of this footage.
It still looks awesome! if this is just the beginning I can only imagine what the finished product will be like.

"This was a very early test with the sole purpose of just getting some footage to Ben our vfx (visual effects) supervisor to see if our vfx plan for the faces would work. The clip doesn't look or feel anything like the movie, the Wild Thing suit is a very early cringy prototype, and the boy is a friend of ours Griffin who we had used in a Yeah Yeah Yeahs video we shot a few weeks before. We love him, but he is not in the actually film...Oh and that is not a wolf suit, its a lamb suit we bought on the internet. Talk to you later..." - Spike Jonze
