Hey Everyone!! How are yall's week going so far???
Wel yesterday I started my 2nd part time job at starbucks. It is quite overwhelming!!
Yesterday I read a lot of the training books. Today I got to actually make a couple of drinks. It may sound easy, but no so much. It is going to take me a while to have it all down. But I'm really liking it so far!! One of my friends works with me so it makes it even better.
Ok so if you haven't ever listened to Needtobreathe, you need to! I am really loving their cd right now! Check them out!
I haven't been doing to much lately. Just working. What have all of you been up to?? Have any of yall ever worked in Starbucks?? If your in school, I bet you have a fall break coming up that your excited about!!??!?! I'm actually going on a little fall break in October with my family, I'm really excited. Were going to the Smokey Mountains.

So you're a barista! :) Cool.

NeedtoBreathe was at The Big Ticket Festival last summer but I missed them b/c I was w/ my kids seeing Pure NRG in another area of the festival. I would have liked to see the guys but it was worth it for my kids to get tee-shirts, posters and the SETLIST signed by the Jordan and the Carolyns. Priorities, ya know?

Last year I missed Tree 63 to see Bibleman. *sigh*

BTW, please tell the "powers-that-be" that having a drive thru where I can get good coffee has made being a mom so much easier! Taking three young children into a cafe where there are lovely ceramic mugs piled in beautiful pyramids DOESN'T work! Having them strapped into their car seats while I order my grande hazelnut latte skinny and getting little cups of whipped cream for each kid -- now THAT'S my idea of service and convenience!

You have, of course, seen the amazing video for "Shine On", right? It's so encouraging!
