So I posted another song from the album The Guest Room. This one rocks! Thanks to my talented friend Melanie Covey. She played the drums on this track and it just kicks.
The song is a struggle within oneself, trying to understand how you can hate someone and love someone at the same time. Like you are two people. Hence, Jekyl Hearts Hyde. Here are the lyrics:
Iʼm so confused, I thought I knew you So how are you takinʼ all your medicine now? Everyone can see that you are changinʼ all the time I thought I hid that vice of a grenade If I was Superman If I was a fireman Iʼd circle the world in reverse Iʼd wrap you up in a blanket And take back all that shit that you drank Stop, drop and roll all over the cement I love you I hate you I love you I love you, I hate you I love you, I hate you I love you, I hate you I love you, I hate you I love you, I hate you
So have a listen!
