Hunde im Fegefeuer

In der Substanz des Raumes Nummer 366,
Qualm, erstickend, dick wie Milch
liegt in der Luft wie Leichen auf Baren.

An den Wänden Blutsiegel und Symbole
ein Rudel wilder Hunde läuft herum
unter ihnen Gitterstäbe und Flammen.

Sie springen von einer Ecke zur anderen
unter ihnen Höllenfeuer und Agonie,
warten auf die nächste Seele, die hier weilen wird.

Sie lecken sich die Wunden,
die sie vorher aufgerissen,
in Gefechten aus Langeweile.

An der Decke scharlachrote Spinnweben,
die Funken und Flammen vom Boden anlocken.
So züngeln kleine Explosionen, von Zeit zu Zeit.

Nichts passiert, bis der nächste Häftling hineingeschleudert wird,
dann zerfetzt und zerbissen, verbrannt und verkohlt, schreiend.

Dogs in the purgatorium

In the substance of the room number 366
Fume, stiffling, thick as milk
lies in the air like corpses on biers.

And on the walls blood seals and symbols
a pack of wild hounds run around
under them stanchions and flames.

They jump from one corner to the other
under them hellfire and agony,
waiting for the next soul that will abide here.

They leck their wounds,
that they ripped open before,
in combats from boredom.

On the ceiling crimson spiderwebs,
that lure sparks and flames from the ground.
So dart small explosions, from time to time.

Nothing happens, until the next prisoner will be hurled in
then torn apart and biten in parts, burned and turned charcoal, screaming.
