Once in a while we go into a wild frenzy of musicals around here. Something about the writers strike, economic depression, full moon and planetary alignment has been sending berzerkly creative full scale musical production pieces to ChessVolt Studios.
Today it's a crazy 70's style combo starring God played by a real-life LA rabbi/cantor.
Lately we've been all over the map:
Butch and Peter have been brewing intriguing concoctions of musical genius replete with blues Strat, grungy grunge, and percussion ranging from AC vents and washing machine parts to Hong and a cymbal the size of, well bigger than, my bed.
Australia visits in the form of singer/songwriter Coby Grant and local duo Alex and Sam pour on the soul with 4 tracks.
