Love Games words and music: David Stephenson Copyright 2009 I met her in the Spring   when I was broadcasting my seed I met her in the Spring    when I was broadcasting my seed You know I fed her all she want    fed her all my feed No time for crying...crying No time for crying...crying Do you love me? Are you playing your love games? Do you love me? Are you playing your love games? I asked the little bird do you love me   and I watched her fly away Asked the little bird do you love me   and watched her fly away But there be no time for crying   she'll return again one day No time for crying...crying No time for crying...crying Do you love me? Are you playing your love games? Do you love me? Why you playing with love? Do you love me? Are you playing your love games? Do you love me? Why you playing with love? In June of this year, Michelle and I said goodbye to our Austrailian Shepherd Pepper.  She was our little girl and my little rock and roll dog.  She loved to sleep next to my guitar amplifier, no matter the volume.  In fact her photo adorns my IT's All In Your Head CD...We miss her dearly.  This song eminates from an ongoing question that I would ask her, "Do you love your Papa?".  Her response, sometime reluctant, was to lick my face profusely. Thank you goes out to Nicole, Brian, and Olivia Kraynik who helped to inspire. This song features a 1930 National Steel Duolian guitar played with a homemade copper pipe slide.  A single microphone, Soundelux E47, captured the performance. I've been listening to a lot of Hound Dog Taylor these days and I think the howling vocals were inspired by his passionate vibe. Cheers
