Fuck a Duck...

Well it's been sometime now since a little update from Nor Nor land. I was concentrating on making the tour videos seen here as well as making new nor-tunes with my fellow Norris' (that you can hear here in the upcoming months) that the news just kept piling up and now im going to just let er fly.

Tour was awesome and we want to take a moment to thank all the amazing people we met along the way who went out of their way to help us out. All we needed here and there was a floor to crash on, but there are some amazingly generous people and bands and promoters across Canada who hooked us up with much more than that so THANK YOU! Also Im glad everyone has been enjoying the videos I've thrown together. Its hilarious when people all across Canada have seen some of the shit we have been up to and tell us how much of a kick they get out of it. So thanks for watching and stay tuned!

We have started writing and once again, this music sounds quite a bit different than what we have touched on before. We are all focused on this music and really concentrating on creating songs that we are 100% happy with. The axe-men have added a few strings to our guitars and the shit we are coming up with isn't really something I have heard before. There is a fuckload you can do with an 8-string! The ideas are flowing like red wine (which is rare in our case) and with the 2 new members it's really a whole new ball game for the rest of us who are used to taking a while to get things done. We will let you know when you can check out the new shit...you may need a change of underoos.

ANNND for the last little while we have been working on getting BONE CRUSHER out to everyone across the country. Finally our re-released EP on Feast or Famine records has distribution across the country courtesy of Sonic Unyon!!! Its pretty awesome to have the respect and support of a Canadian Label that has been doing it for almost 15 years like Sonic has. You can pick up our EP ALL ACROSS CANADA in stores now. We gave the old version away for months in the winter, so show us some love and go grab the re-mastered version from stores or itunes. Its all good baby.

If you don't own Bone Crusher yet, here is ANOTHER review to get you in the loop:

Norris
Bone Crusher
Grade: A
"This Canadian metal outfit sports energetic and technical instrumentation.. fronted by growls and shrieks in the likes of Heavy Heavy Low and Duck Duck Goose. Bone Crusher begins with "Epic Failure", an in-your-face track that is followed by the insane title track, "Bone Crusher". The music of Norris is all over the place, wild, and pulse pounding. This EP is packed with raw energy and anguish. Even the keys found in "The Dirge" are brooding. Whatever the track, metal fans are likely to find something they love about Norris. Bone Crusher is as impressive as it is crazy, start to finish."
