Hi all,
I have had the great fortune to visit New York city this past week. And what can I say, New York is truly one of the most incredible exciting cities on this planet!
As you may or may not know, my wife is an actress, and she has been doing Chicago the Musical on Broadway this year, so I have been there on numerous occasions, and it never gets boring!
On this occasion, I didn't go and see as many live bands play like I did the last time. We did however go to a John Lennon exhibition at the Rock and Roll hall of fame, and this was the highlight of my trip. He truly was a genius, and it was great to see some of his original lyrics that he wrote on scraps of paper.
I have also lost $40 in a game of chess that I played against those dudes sitting in Washington Square park! How more tourist can I get.
Another major highlight for me everytime I go is the Pretzels on the street corner, and the peanut butter cup ben & jerry's ice cream. I can never get enough, and then don't understand why my clothes don't fit when I get back!
Anyhow, its great to be back in london, and I'm looking forward to a busy few weeks with the band.
