Read Genesis Chapter 5

 

This chapter is pretty straight forward and simple, but has plenty to talk about, I guess.  I often read stuff like this and want to jump right past it, but it's good to be aware of the names and such for trivia stuff, as well as the power in walking with God for all those years.  What about dudes who walked with God for 300 years?  How powerful is that?  In days like today we don't get to experience that kind of closeness, but to think about walking intimate with God for 80 years or 100 years, WOW!!  I'm excited to see the fullness of a relationship with our Savior for 80 years!  How about you?  What about walking with God for that long?  There is scripture in the New Testament that talks about not growing weary in doing good!  Keep walking!  It's worth it like nothing else!
