I just got back from Nashville and had a great time producing and recording my music with Jay and the band.  Jay and I spent Monday morning going over the charts and production details.  The band arrived around 9:00AM and set up their gear.  We started recording around 10:00AM and had a great session. 

I want to thank Dan Harr, owner of Music News Nashville, for putting Jay Vernali in contact with me.  Jay has a diverse musical background and great production skills.  He has experience in producing and playing Jazz, Country, Pop, R&B, Soul and Rock music.  Since my music and writing style is influenced by several genres, it was really important to work with someone who had the knowledge and passion to understand my vision.

I will be heading back to Nashville in a few weeks to finish up seven songs.  We still need to add saxophone, a horn section and percussions to several songs.  I will also be recording final vocals.  Jay has selected two really good Nashville singers to add background vocals to my songs.

I am amazed at how organized and professional the production and recording process is in Nashville.  Jay has been playing, engineering and producing music on Music Row for over twenty years.  He has developed excellent relationship with some of the best studio musicians in the world.  I feel fortunate to have them playing on my album.  I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  The music is really starting to take shape and I can't wait to finish.  Till next time keep Making it Happen!!!!
