- I am a touchy-feely person

- Growing up our house was like Wild Kingdom. We always had pets and seemed to be a magnet for strays. We had mice, turtles, birds, cats, dogs, fish, lizards…
- Grandparents on both sides of my family lived in rural areas on farms or ranches and I was lucky enough to spend lots of time with them, and miss them dearly
