Dear Maria:  I just read a lovely article on your recent gig in Seattle.  I am so sorry I missed your wonderful music.  Ginene left the planet three years ago last week and I am just getting back into life.  You were so kind to perform on her behalf and she was so taken with your music and voice.  And she knew singers from her own beautiful voice.  I am only sorry she was so sick when you knew her that you never were able to hear her when she could really belt it out.  I am hopeful this finds your career up to the level of your talent.  After all this time I am just now able to write again as it took distance from her death to get my sense of humor back.  And that's a necessity for a comedy screenwriter.  My very warmest thoughts and wishes for you.  Johnny Strachan
