I had to do a double take this morning.  I flipped on the tv and it was on NBC where the Today show was having a "Footloose" reunion talking to Kevin Bacon, Lori Singer, and John whatz his name from "Third Rock From the Sun". 

It was such a momentous event both Matt and Meredith were interviewing them.  Lori Singer was going on and on about how important the message of freedom from Footloose was and how there's even a town in Texas that recently banned dancing.

I had to check my coffee to see if someone spiked it with mescaline.  WTF?? Footloose has never been relevant except as something to make fun of.  Back in high school.

They closed by mentioning it was the 24th anniversary of Footloose bringing Kenny Loggins out who was gonna do the song.  Ahhh!!!  I had to turn it off there before the hideous strains of Footloose got embedded in my skull.

I can't wait to see how they celebrate the 25th anniversary.
