Lots of people say that they notice "signs of the end times", and it could very well be true, I mean who knows? But I think that these "signs" aren't really signs at all, but it's just that world views on certain things change and have been changing since the beginning of time, so we perceive different things as being a "warning" that the end is near. That's confusing probably so I'll try to make it unconfusing.

Scientists claim "Events in the sky could be signs of the end, such as comets in the near future and the way the planets line up, and earthquakes and hurricanes and tsunamis", but these things have been occurring for thousands of years with no "end." Violence today is virtually no different than violence that was going on 100 or 200 years ago. The only difference being violence that occurs today is viewed as more *brutal* because we've evolved in those 200 years. Sure back in 1800 there was no Manson family to murder someone with a fork, but are there really different levels of killing somebody? Is there any difference in killing someone today with a sniper rifle than there was murdering someone with a cannon back in 1862? No. There are always going to be good AND bad situations with the human race evolving, that's the way it's always been. We just see things differently now than people used to, but what we see is still the same thing. We see murder and committ violence, cavemen saw murder and committed violence, people today steal, people back in 300 B.C. stole from each other, comets hit the earth and wiped out the dinosaurs, the world was covered in ice, we enslaved people, we assassinated people, Hitler tried to take over the world, etc., and no end has come. The world has been filled with "warnings" since it was created.
