When I was six years old, I lived for Saturday mornings. We didn't have 24/7 cartoon networks on cable television. We had a single morning dedicated to my favorite shows, and the most important was Super Friends. My lunchbox in kindergarten was all the Marvel superheroes, and just about every penny from my allowance was spent on comic books at the local convenience store. I'd trace my favorite panels until I was eventually good enough to draw them on my own.

Now, all these years later, my career is coming full circle. My first comic book comes out August 19. I'm writing a 12-issue series for WildStorm/DC called Free Realms. It's based on an incredible MMORPG created by SONY. It just came out, and they already have more than a million players.
