I really haven't kept up to date with these 'blog posts, I'm afraid.  Since I last posted, Kellie has left us to concentrate on her writing.  We had a few potential drummers who contacted us, then fell off the radar.  As such, we're embracing technology and using my laptop as a drummer for the time being.  The downside being that it won't stay in time should be waver and isn't a great conversationalist.  The upside being that it doesn't need its own seat on the train.

In other news, we are planning a massive amount of writing and recording this year.  As you may know, I tend to take part in lots of crazy songwriting challenges.  The latest is to write and record a song a week.  As such, I will be posting a new song on our myspace every Sunday.  You can see the old ones at www.songaweek.org, and if anyone wants to join in with the challenge, just sign up.

Because I do all these crazy songwriting challenges, we have far more songs than we could ever learn to play live, so I've picked some of the best ones that don't quite fit with what the band's doing and will be releasing a free download album called "Speedwritten" of them, hopefully in March.  I've posted a sneak preview of that on here - rough mix of "Taking it out on me."

After that, we're hoping to record a proper band album in the summer, but I'll let you know more about that nearer the time.
