Hey there everyone,

You may have noticed that we have been a  little quiet for a while and off the radar. Since our last blog we have quiet a few new things to tell you all about.

Our last shows were two in a row that were part of the "Relay for Life" event. We played at the baseball field in Nanaimo at almost 11pm and then drove to Victoria to perform on their stage at almost 3am. We were very impressed to see everyone participating in the activities and staying awake... These types of things tend to bring people together as most of us have had cancer affect our lives in one way or another. A very close family member to one of the band was recently lost to cancer which was yet another reason for us to donate our time to this cause. We want to thank everyone that was there and hope to see you all again next year.

As you know we have been in the studio recording new material for our upcoming album. The process is slow as these things tend to be but very rewarding. We still have a ways to go but we hope to let you hear some of the new stuff as soon as something is ready.

We are putting everything into the new songs and making this project the best thing we've ever been a part of. Unfortunately our bass player Carl Schleppe is no longer going to be a part of this journey. We have had a lot of good times together and still will just not in the form of a band. We have our differences and have decided to move on musically. Carl is a singer songwriter at heart and will continue his adventures in music regardlessly and we will be there to support him.

Our new bass player is Niko Hook Nilsson. He has been our sound guy and guitar tech for some time now as well as my (Aaron) brother from the same mother which makes us now a brother band... we're now part of that group of select bands ACDC, Van Halen, Kings Of Leon, Oasis... Perhaps not that big but certainly a brother band.

Niko has been around the band long enough that the transition has been effortless. Carl had his own thing going on and a unique vibe he brought to the band and the music and now Niko has his own thing too. We all hope that everyone else enjoy what Niko has to offer as much as we do.

So aside from the studio time we are also working on our live show and rehearsing as a new band of brothers. We are serious about what we do and want to make Niko's debut one to remember. We rehearsed as a band for almost a year before we played our first gig, this time we're giving ourselves just over a month to prepare.

With more songs recorded and a new bass player we will start hitting the scene hard again by end of summer, for now everyone who can should come out to see Niko at Green Mountain Music Festival in Nanaimo on August 8th.

We also want to thank all the people that are downloading our ringtones from the web page. We have had so many downloads that we are one of the all time favorite ringtone downloads  on www.myxer.com which have over a million visitors a day!

Incase you don't already know we do have T-shirts availble for sale which can be ordered or bought at our gigs. If you are interested in getting more info on this subject just message us. We do read everything you send us so keep the messages coming!

We will be changing all our photos for ones from our newest shoots but for now we are leaving the ones with Carl until the new ones are available.

We appreciate all the support you give us and hope to see you all very soon,

Peace.
