"Music with Mommie" is an early childhood music education program created by Stacy Jagger. Starting with a love for music and children and a degree in music from Belmont University, Stacy Jagger decided to put her passions together and create a program that moms with young ones could come to once a week for a time of community bonding, entertainment, and stimulating musical activity for their children as well as themselves. "Music with Mommie" was born in the Spring of 2007 in Spring Hill, TN and received such a postive response that Stacy decided it was time to bring her vision and passion further than her own neighborhood. At this time Stacy Jagger met Stacy Phillips in one of the "Music with Mommie" classes. It turned out that Stacy Phillips was another woman with a passion for children and music as well as a degree in music from Berklee College of Music in Boston. The two hit it off and Stacy Phillips believed in Stacy Jagger's vision so much that she wholeheartedly jumped on board to help. Together Stacy J and Stacy P (or peeps as some call her) are creating a wave of musical joy crashing across music city and beyond.Stacy Phillips started the Franklin "Music with Mommie" classes in September and is expanding her classes beyond Franklin to Murfreesboro, Brentwood and south Nashville. Stacy and Stacy found another friend, KC Hopkins, who excitedly decided to start "Music with Mommie" classes in Columbia, Fairview, Mount Juliet and Hendersonville!  Murfreesboro classes are coming soon and will be taught by Mandy Ray-Jones.

Not only do Stacy and Stacy have a love for teaching children music, but they are also songwriters and performers at heart, and have already layed down the tracks for the first  "Music with Mommie" CD due out in early November 2007.
