Time to flip the open sign for Darkhouse Productions back on!!! It's been an insanely busy and stressful year so far. But nothing but good has come of it...
New house, Baby boy (Braylond) on the way in Feb, tons of new tech & gadgets and continued forward momentum with Darkhouse!
A Quick Recap...While most of my time has unfortunately been spent away from the hallowed grounds of Darkhouse, it's been anything but quiet. Andy K and Mr. Eric have been hard at work on the first Demontree album. We'll begin mixing and mastering before the holidays.
We got a chance to work with our friends from Inanity again. Steve & Eric made their way into the studio over the summer to do a side project named "Under The Urban Rainbow". I'll post some new tracks here within the next few days.
Of course we've still had the pleasure of working with our beloved Matter Of Fact. They've been playing tons of shows over the Summer, continuing to build upon their loyal fanbase. I've spoken with the guys lately, and it appears they're itching for some new music. Not sure exactley what will come of it, but we can always count on it being a good time!!!
We've also been lucky enough to start a friendship with OG Bobby Johnson. He's brought a few of his latest tracks into the DH studios for mastering. I've been continuously impressed with the caliber of talent that comes through our doors. OGBJ has some killer tracks, and one in particular has peaked Andy K's and my interest about adding a little "Demontree"-esque crunch to. More on that soon...
After multiple scheduling conflicts, it looks as though we'll finally get to sit down with Britches & Hose (the 2009 Youth Charity Jam Winners) for the recording session they won as part of the Grand Prize. I got a chance to see them at the RAMI's this year and I'm very excited to see what we can come up with together.
I recently got back from the Eerie Horror Film Fest in Erie, PA. They picked up our Frankenstein Vs. The Wolfman movie for a 3d Screening during this year's festival. It was a blast. I've posted a few pics in the FvTWM album. Colin & I were both excited to see our work on the big screen. Plus, I think it's given us a boost to get started on the next film. We're scheduled to begin Voice Over work at the beginning of November. I'll talk to Colin and see if I can't post a couple sneak peek screenshots on here soon.
Another inspiration we were able to take away from the EHFF, was for a project that's been brewing in the DH vaults for a little while now. We're still hammering out some of the details...but hopefully I'll be able to announce something soon...(hint: we'll do it Outside or Inside or anywhere for that matter!!)

We're also hoping to have a full on website up and running soon after the first of the year. We've been hoping that for a few years now, so I wouldn't quote me on that one! :) But there is a ton more merch, music, movies and events all on their way.
