As some of you might be aware by now, our old pal Stan has recently
been diagnosed with Cancer and unfortunately does not have that much
longer with us. He is currently in a home, settled and near his sister.
He had not been well for a while and last week he was taken to the
hospital and then to Manorlands where he received top treatment from
the staff there. I have spoken with him most days and he is still in
high spirits as usual.

Therefore, we are planning on hosting an
all day charity event to celebrate the life of the man himself and also
to raise a bit of cash for Manorlands. This is going to be held at The
Mannville Arms on 3rd May (May Day bank holiday weekend). I am looking
for around 6 or 7 bands - ideally of people who actually know Stan.
Let's give our old pal the send off he deserves!
