Last night we played with JG Everest at the 331 club and it was a very fun and relaxed show. It was our first with viola, and our second with upright bass, and those guys (Ginna Watson and Jennifer Ruben) are amazing. Our whole sound has changed character and it's fun to listen to the songs with new instrumentation.
JG Everest is like a mad scientist. He plays guitar, sings, plays trumpet, and other stuff--records the loops until he has like 7 or 8 layers of stuff going. Pretty amazing; I would recommend seeing him sometime.
