I'm so damn lucky. It's just a fact, and I wanted to type it out.
My husband is a wonderful, honorable, craaaazy man who gifted me not only with his love, companionship, and friendship, but a beautiful daughter too. AND he looks so hot in his blues uniform!  LOL
And my daughter ... what can I say about her? Words fail me. Words are *lame*. There aren't any words to describe how fucking awesome it is to be her mother. Lack of sleep, the edge of patience, concern that I'm a complete moron when it comes t *how* to be a "good mom" can't keep me from feeling the exploding joy that overflows from my heart when I look at her.
She's growing and changing and seems to be content so, that must be some indication I'm doing something right! 
My family, my dog, the gorgeous land I call home (California, bitches!) ... I have so many reasons to be happy ... oh yea, and one of those reasons is that I won't be stuck in VA forever! 
And it's odd to have our place back to ourselves again ... my mom was here for almost 3 weeks after Molly-Fae was born ... my sister-in-law (a fm version of my dear husband ... (gawd help me! LOL) just left today after being here for 2 weeks ... I'm so sad the visitors are gone! It made me miss home even more than I already did. Nooooowhere compares to California! NOWHERE!
We do have a ways to go out here in VA while Carmel-toes is enlisted ... and he'll probably re-up too ... but it's all worth it. Love is so worth it.
Ok, I'm done ... and so is Molly's nap! LOL
