Lightnin' Bugs Unite!!! We're getting ready to rock the Renaissance Center again for the 2nd Annual Red Hot & Blue Revue in Kingsport, Tennessee. It's been expanded to a two-nighter - Friday May 1st and Saturday May 2nd.

Our lineup this year is scary.

May 1st
Barrelhouse Chuck and Harmonica Todd, real deal Chicago Bluesmen, will be there on May 1st. Barrelhouse Chuck is the pianist on the soundtrack of the new major motion picture, The Cadillac Records Story, starring Beyonce, and Chuck just returned from playing the Obama inaugural in Washington DC. The Cadillac Records Story is the movie where Beyonce sings Etta James' Chess classic "At Last" that was so prevalent at the inaugural.

Harmonica Todd has been an old-school Chicago Blues ambassador for years. BHC's long-time harp player (live and on record), HT has been my friend and blues partner also and is featured on my CD "A New Leaf".

May 2nd (Ladies Night)
EG Kight is back with her one-of-a-kind, award-winning, blues and soul sound. EG is currently nominated by Blueswax Magazine for Blues Artist Of The Year and her new CD "It's Hot In Here" is nominated for Blues Album Of The Year. She's been Grammy nominated too.

World-renowned Saffire The Uppity Blues Women will make a very rare (and final) East Tennessee appearance on their farewell tour after a 25-year, stellar carreer in the blues.
