SUMMER IS HERE!!  I can feel it on my skin... I can hear it in the morning... I can smell it when I walk outside and I am refreshed and happy!  I adore summer whole-heartedly for a number of reasons.  Summer is when I get to rejuvenate!  Our summer this year has been JAM PACKED with TONS of awesome events and camps!  We have been so so blessed this summer!  

We started out at our very favorite KANAKUK KAMPS!  We adore this place from the bottom of our hearts... any chance we get to be apart of what ya'll are doing at Kamp we feel so BLESSED!

We spent a great deal of time at CAMP BARNABAS this summer and were BLOWN away by those precious campers!  Please check out the amazing ministry our dear friends, Paul and Cyndy Teas have going on over there (campbarnabas.org)  I'm sure ya'll will be blessed by just looking at their front page of their website!  I'm so thankful I have new friends in the barnabas family!  God is so good!

We also traveled to CASPER, WYOMING!   Wyoming is awesome!  We had the best time!  Aside from getting a tad bit of altitude sickness (sorry brady)-- we had the best time.  God is so faithful... I had the opportunity to talk to some of the girls about purity and the importance of waiting for your husband and I was humbled by the way God stood beside me while I was answering those tough questions!  NOTHING that came out of my mouth was from me... the Lord was there that day and I am thankful!  I would love for ya'll to e-mail any questions you have regarding purity to either our myspace or wrent@wrentband.com... I'm going to do a special purity blog and I'd love to hear what ya'll have to say about the subject!!!  

We're also in the midst of packing our bags for Brazil!!  This is not a typo!!  We are heading to BRAZIL THE COUNTRY!  We are way pumped to be immersed in God's people and worship!  I can't wait to hug on all the orphans (and sneak a few back in my carry-on) and help serve food to the local communities!  We're also going to be putting on a vbs-type program for the local churches!  I don't speak a lick of Portuguese... but I can sure do anything the Lord needs me to do!  It will be a great 12 days!!!  Pictures to come... promise :)

Right now, unfortunately, Brady, little Anabelle and I are locked in our home for the next 5 days.  There has been a terrible flu going around Kamp this year and I caught it!!  We are so bummed to be out for the next few days... please pray for quick recoveries and healthy bodies once we return full-swing into work!

P.S.  Change Your World Ministries helped bring home their first orphan!  God was so good when he laid it on our hearts to help a family in Arkansas bring home a baby boy to complete their family of FOUR!!  It has been so fun to walk along side them and see the way God has used their family to bring people to the cross.  There is no way on earth we could have done this with out you!  So thanks for buying our songs, getting us to come play at your church and getting excited about our poverty shirts... Ya'll gave a little boy a forever-home and we are BLESSED to get to be a part of it!  Ya'll rock our world!  WE LOVE YOU!
