Dear Friends

I am very happy and proud to tell you, that i am now endorsed by Ibanez guitars. They are building very fine guitars and i had the honour and joy to meet the guys from the german distributor, get a tour through the house and the chance to check out all their great guitars.

What should i say? It was not easy to choose one, there were to much of them :-) But i fell in love with the Artcore Custom AF 125, which is a beautiful, great sounding and playing Hollowbody Electric guitar and the EW20, an accoustic with pickup, which is also very beautiful and great sounding and playing.

Their motto is: "Anything but traditional" and guess, i always was the "die-hard-traditional-guy" when it came to choose a guitar to play. But i am also a working musician and checking out their guitars showed me, that there were some great things happening after 1958 :-)) and it means that there are things, that make life on stage and in the studio much easier, like an XLR-Output or built in tuner. God bless the guy that came up with that idea :-))

Because of, the transportation company made a delay, the guitars arrived short time before the show and there was no time for a soundcheck. I played them out of the box and it worked great. After five days on the road, they were still in perfect tune and i played them five hours on stage that night. As a guy, that is hitting the strings really hard, it was really impressing that i only needed to tune them again ONE TIME at that night. And the sound was magic!

So, thank you Ibanez for making me a part of the familiy and thank you for that two great ladies. I will treat them with respect and love, even when i will make them scream sometimes, but guess you build them for that too, right? :-))

You can check out pictures of them in my picture section here. More pictures of me and them will follow soon.
