Hi all,
jwcurry cordially invites you to be part of a spectacular hit & run sound poetry performance tonight at 7:30 in Prince's Island Park at the Enmax Stage. This is the main stage used for the Folk Fest. In a reversal of tradition, the audience will be invited to sit at the back of the stage while a sound poetry quartet let by jwcurry entertains them with works by some of Canada's most famous sound poets. John is one of the few poets in Canada working faithfully from this interesting anti-tradition who was there to witness its creation from its earlier beginnings, and his unique experience shows. (Rehearsals have been mind-blowing, exuberant, and blisteringly difficult!).
Please come and hear jwcurry's full performance created for your express fascination. It's his way of saying thank you to filling Station for bringing him to town all the way from Ottawa and to all of you for supporting his Encyclopedia Beepliographic. It all happens tonight at 7:30!
Please also forward this to anyone else you know who might like to see this late-breaking performance.
Thank you,
jwcurry Peter Norman Ross Priddle Laurie Fuhr
