Gifted with an infectious little hook about one of the many ways in which budding relationships can stall before they flourish, singer/songwriter/guitarist Brett Mikels and longtime friend & collaborator Jason Orme (Alanis Morisette, Sarah McLachlan, Big Red Button) wrote, recorded, and produced Love Says So throughout the summer of 2009. Three other amazing musicians with talent and resumes to die for lent their magic to this recording: Herman Matthews (drums), Dan Rothchild (Bass), and Vincent Leslie Jones (Keyboards). Michael James, who produced and mixed Brett's first album “Deep Enough” alongside Brett and producer Bill Kole, mixed Love Says so, and David Donnely (DNA Mastering) polished it up for the world! This was the last song written for Brett's follow up record, but is the first released. Follow up singles and the forthcoming album are scheduled for Fall / Winter release 2009.....
