Nothing too exciting happening here today! It's TAX DAAAY!
GAH! My head is going to explode. However, there is lots of dirty work that I get to avoid , someone is doing that for me. No, it's not the IRS.

For someone who is functioning on 5 or less hours of sleep, I think it's going ok.

Last night, my wonderful band boys and I played a show at the Gibson Guitar Showroom in Toronto. What a lovely family they are! Real sweet people. Great sound, great techs, great g-tars. A big shout out to all you there.
Met a young man from CornerBrook New FoundLand, and when fellow Islanders meet, it's kinda like a Borg reunion, but without all the weird markings on the face n' that.
Yes, there's something special about us Islanders, if I do say so myself. A kind of camaraderie which falls into place, and you just know that person grew up smelling the same sea air, buying sea food right off the boat, and no matter where you are on the Island you can always see a night sky in a thick veil of stars.
There's nothing like it.

So that kinda made my night.
That and the totally ROCKING set we pulled off. Boy, those boys can boogie. Sweet Don was so jet lagged from coming home, almost directly off the plane, from Italy. So needless to say, he was a proverbial zombie, however, he played flawlessly. Singing and playing with all yous guys makes for mighty good soul food.

So a huuuge thank you to the boys for being such pros, and to Kim and Larry for putting these events together.

K, it's back to taxes for me.....
