The CARNIE BUMS returned to the Open Tap last night. The Open Tap is one of our favorite places to play, and last night was no exception. We had a ton of fun and we threw down pretty hard. Overall it was a good night and those not there missed out.
The night began with Sleepy Hill frontman Stephen playing an accoustic set. The band had to bail due to an injury, but we got some nice accoustic music from our buddy. Stephen stuck around and partied with us and even joined us for two songs.
As for the CARNIE night, we had a great time. The first set started off strong and fast, we grooved in the middle and had a great end. The highlight for us was Psycho Killer, Old Habits and Are You for Real? to end the set. We had a great groove going on Are You for Real? and really had people into the song. We definately sweated off the beer we were drinking and then some in the first set.
The second set started off with a crowd pleasing Colfax right into a tight Ten Sleep. We got a good reaction on Travelin and from then on we played very loose, but things sounded good. Feedback, can crushing, debouchery; it was all included in the second set. We'll have pictures up soon and even a short video we know you will all love.
The next two shows are HUGE for us and there will be more details to come on those, but we're all tired, slightly hung over Carnies from a great night at the Open Tap!
