When the lights went out, everyone's arms went up. A green light shined on the silver heartagram on the back wall. Screams and chants filled the club. And Bam's arm was still around me.
Seconds later the band appeared onstage. The Finnish beauty stood before his sea of screaming worshippers. "Good-evening, sweethearts." His voice filled the club, just Gas kicked off the opening song; Vampire heart.
My buzz never felt greater as I jumped with my arms in the air. Everyone knocked into one another, as I pushed my way to the front. No one protested as Bam, Gage, and Dunn all followed.
Ville quickly saw me, before stumbling over his lyrics. He continued as best he can, but couldn't help to notice Bam's arm around my neck. It seemed he wouldn't look my way for the rest of the song.
In the middle of the next song, Right Here In My Arms, I rushed through the crowd to get to the restroom. I ran into one of the stalls, did my business as quickly as possible, and went to wash my hands.
Just then another girl entered the restroom. She was tall, awfully thin and had brown hair down to her shoulders. I could feel her eyes on me as I rinsed my face of the sweat. I tried my best to ignore her, as I dried my hands and made my way back out to the crowd.
I found Dunn easily; his rainbow headband was not difficult to spot. He was singing along to the music like everyone else, before noticing me. "Hey!" He yelled.
I couldn't hear him, but could read his lips. He suddenly pointed behind me. Before I could look, I was lifted up into the air and onto the crowd. I floated in the hands of the fans, screaming along to the lyrics, until I reached the stage.
When the song came to an end, Ville blushed, giggling into the microphone as my intoxicated self crawled to his feet, giving his shoe a peck. My arms went into the air as the crowd roared in applause. I quickly stood to on my tiptoes, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
Within a few songs, I made my way to the bar in the front of the club. I needed another beer before I passed out. Gage and Dunn were still in the crowd somewhere. I sat at the corner of the bar, sharing half my stool with Bam. We sat silently nodding along to the beat, until he felt someone tap his shoulder. The same girl from the restroom stood behind him, with her hands on her hips.
Bam quickly stood to his feet to face her, "What the fuck? What are you doing here?"
The girl pushed him. "What are you doing with her?"
"What the fuck do you care? I broke up with you days ago."
The girl laughed, "So this is what you go to? Some skank?" She replied, pulling a strand of my hair.
Upon reflex, I reached for a beer bottle before crashing it down on her forehead. Luckily, Bam caught her arm as she swung to slap me. People rushed to see what was the commotion just before I reached to grip her neck.
I felt Tony reach for me, pulling me off of her. I laughed as he dragged me through the crowd. "Every time, Ly-Ly." He repeated the whole way to the back room, behind the stage. Throwing me on the old olive-green cough, he shook his finger before me. "You stay back here, and don't start anymore shit, Ly, please." He begged before exiting.
I lied there, as the music shook the walls, trying not to fall asleep. But the events of the night were wearing down on me. Everything soon faded to black.
The lovely smell of Egyptian Musk incense filling the room forced me to crack my eyes open. I found myself in a bed of soft white sheets. The blinds on window before me were open. I couldn't tell if it was a rising sun or a setting sun to tell you the truth. A groan exited my mouth as I rolled over, feeling the explosion in my head.
"Are you awake now, darling?" The luscious foreign voice echoed through out the room.
My eyes flew open. "What the—" I said as I sat up quickly. I then realized that I was only wearing my tube top and underwear. "How the hell—" I couldn't seem to remember what happened.
Ville's giggle was precious as he sat at the foot of the bed. "Don't worry, nothing of that sort happened, darling." He waved his hand in the air as if that were forbidden. "I found you on that couch in the club, and wasn't sure if I should leave you there or not."
I laughed to myself. "Well thank goodness someone didn't forget about me." I added as I fell back on the pillow behind me. I thought of the events of last night as my brain throbbed against my skull. I barely remembered any of the show, and could almost remember choking someone, but I couldn't remember why.
"I had to go help Bam get out of jail this morning." He broke the silence. "He's been asking about you all morning, says he's sorry about the whole mess."
Bam, I thought. Bam! That's right! It was his ex. "Holy-shit, last night was crazy." I said aloud to myself.
He laughed, "I saw that. I bet you don't remember cuddling with me last night."
