Burning Babylon

We here at The Situationist would like to thank everybody who is doing what they can for our loss. In case you haven't already heard our studio that we shared with Doug Cheatwood and The Bastards of Fate burned to the ground on Thursday night. Many other Bands in the space have severe losses as well. We lost everything in the fire. We are estimating our losses at about $40,000. Some of the equipment was vintage and/or having sentimental value. Most of all, we have lost our ability for the time being to create music, which is what we all love to do. The local community is strong and I have hope that we will pull something together soon.

I hope that my Blog on Wednesday was not a premonition, but life is strange like that.
