in the darkest corners the shadows lie
awaiting revolution so that they can survive
living on scraps that were left behind
their music and the struggle keeps them alive
oh they came to a place where time was free
and superheroes roamed in peace endlessly
because being alive wasn't reduced to a fee
the groovers were out to see what they could see
houses and safeplaces filled the treetops
with no unwarranted powers like those given to cops
you know its not like these people are running at a loss
we can reach the corners of the globe, but at what cost?
and the music inside us makes the people unite
cos if you don't want destruction there's no need to fight
the enforcement of laws just isn't a right
that somebody else has over your life!
